It’s amazing how contributors are still accumulating on the Ethereum blockchain network every month. The bearish trend of the cryptocurrency market does not seem to affect the number of participants investing in popular cryptocurrencies. Some notable examples of these digital currencies are Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Judging by the estimated share of participants in these flagship projects, the annual increase is about 71.6%. This dates from 4 years earlier, namely January 2018.

This information came from research work held by Telstra Ventures on Tuesday. According to the study, the project with the highest increase in monthly members was Solana. According to the study, since January 1, 2018, the growth rate has been about 173%.

While this is true for Solana, the first digital currency to come in second in this category is Ethereum. Based on the information contained in the study, the annual growth rate of monthly active ETH contributors is around 25.9%.

Finally, Bitcoin ranks third among the listed digital currencies. In addition, Bitcoin is increasing the number of active depositors by 17.1% annually.

Telstra Report on Ethereum

Telstra also reported on the Ethereum developer community. According to his data, ETH has the strongest and largest developer community compared to the other two blockchains.

As of April, Ethereum had almost 2,500 monthly contributors. By July, that figure had dropped by 500 members, leaving 2,000 members per month. This event seemed to coincide with a sharp drop in the digital market.

In addition, Telstra shared their thoughts on a possible reason for the continuous growth in the number of active members. According to his report, the increase in the number of participants can be explained by the need to increase productivity in preparation for the expected merger. This event puts the network into a PoS (Proof-of-Stake) mechanism.

The Telstra report also provides a comparison between Bitcoin, Solana and Ethereum based on their monthly active contributors. According to his statement, the monthly installments of ETH were more than four times those of Bitcoin as of July.

At the time, Bitcoin had about 400 contributors. Meanwhile, the number of monthly Ethereum depositors outnumbered SOL depositors by almost seven times. During the same period, Solana had about 350 members per month.

The report also says that the growth of depositors fell by 9% compared to November last year. But, again, this coincided with a price drop in the digital currency market since its high price point.
