Bitcoin of America increases ATMs across the U.S. by more than 30%

Bitcoin of America virtual currency exchange company increased The number of ATMs has increased by more than 30% since May.

In March, Bitcoin of America had about 1,800 Bitcoin ATMs. Within two months, that number had increased to over 2,500 BTM at over 250 locations across the US.

Until March, Bitcoin ATMs offered the ability to buy Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), and Ethereum (ETH). With the expansion of the network, America’s Bitcoin has expanded its ecosystem in terms of integrated coins. It started offering Dogecoin (DOGE) in March and added Shiba Inu (SHIB) in April. Users can now purchase all five currencies at Bitcoin ATMs using their debit cards or PayPal accounts.

Recently added coins to the bitcoin ATM network, Shiba Inu and Dogecoin, have become increasingly useful for payments lately. In April, American film company AMC announced that it was accepting payments in Dogecoin and Shiba Inu.

Dogecoin

After announcing their roadmap for 2022 in April, the Dogecoin team set out to make Dogecoin the “currency of the internet.”

The project team stated that instead of remaining a meme coin, they will focus more on utility and turn Dogecoin into a valid payment method for everyone in the world. The group has developed a step-by-step roadmap to improve Dogecoin technology and payment capabilities.

Elon Musk has been promoting Dogecoin for years and accepting Dogecoin payments for Tesla. He recently announced that he was accepting payments in Dogecoin and for SpaceX goods, after which the price jumped by 5%.

On June 3, U.S. Senate candidate Timothy Ursrich expressed his desire to make Dogecoin legal tender in California. To support his efforts, he asked Elon Musk and Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus to help with his campaign.

In May, Shiba Inu announced an upgrade and introduced the SHI stablecoin. SHI stablecoin is in the final testing stage before launch.

The anonymous founder of Shiba Inu Riyoshi wrote about Shiba Inu’s goal of becoming a means of payment and said:

“The ultimate goal is for SHI (powered by both ETH and Shibarium) to become a global stablecoin that plebs in all countries can use both as a store of value and as a payment method.”
