
Magic Eden partners with Moonpay to add alternative payment methods

NFT marketplace Magic Eden has signed a partnership with Web3 payment platform MoonPay to add payment alternatives to its platform, according to Fintech Finance.
The new features will allow Magic Eden users to purchase NFTs with their credit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. informed Fintech Finance.
Magic Eden COO Zhuoxun Yin explained the purpose of this initiative, stating:
“Our goal is to make NFTs accessible to everyone by allowing people to own and control their digital assets.
And now, thanks to our partnership with MoonPay, we are even more excited to lower the barriers to entry into the exciting world of Web3 by democratizing access to these revolutionary technologies.”
Magic Eden launched in September 2021 and currently contains over 16,000 NFTs. The platform has generated over $2.6 billion in transactions since its launch and supports the Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) blockchains. February 14 company let go of 22 employees as part of a “corporate-wide refurbishment”.
